Who Are We?
Osso Bone Care is a therapy and medicine center that specializes in the traditional medicine practice of bone setting, as well as healing methods for the muscles and nerves. Established in 2007, Osso Bone Care is backed by therapy, chiropractic and medicine professionals with years of experience in the practice.
We combine the art form of traditional medicine practices with chiropractic methods and modern medical standards such as the utilization of traction bends and Electronic Muscle Stimulation, as well as strict hygiene standards and Western biomechanical theories. This is to ensure the best outcome for each of our treatments to our patients, particularly those with serious injuries such as bone dislocation or fractures.
Osso Bone Care practices the best of both worlds. Our approach is professional, attentive, all-natural, holistic, non-invasive and is also backed by our proven successful record.
About Calvin Shun - Founder and Principal
Calvin Shun is the founder, principal and chief physician of Osso Bone Care. He mastered the art of bone setting in 1998 by first beginning informal tutelage under the wings of two experts of different fields - a venerated Chinese medicine Master, and an established chiropractor. His tutelage under his two teachers gave him a good viewpoint and understanding on the benefits of both worlds of Eastern and Western medicine.
Calvin then received his formal studies in traditional Chinese medicine by enrolling in a government-backed institution. He graduated in Osteopathy in year 2007 with full certification.
Calvin now heads Osso Bone Care, and has full experience in the expertise of bone setting, as well as an understanding and sensitivity towards the nerves and muscles. His approach of bone setting together with muscle and nerves knowledge allows him to practice the best treatment for his patients.
Our Mission
Osso Bone Care is dedicated to bringing patients a holistic, all-natural and non-invasive approach to heal, correct and align the body frame. We are foremost experts in bone-setting for injuries such as dislocations and fractures.
We believe in a holistic approach for long-term success and permanent well-being. We hold strict standards in our practice, and we do not waver from our belief that the natural approach is best when it comes to healing the bone, muscle and nerves.
We do not practice short cuts, nor do we believe in drugs and painkillers. We strive to provide full care for our clients to ensure they can enjoy a fulfilling life without being hindered by illness, pain and physical maladies. Best of all, our approach is non-invasive and free of chemical drugs and artificial preservatives.
We understand that traditional Chinese medicine is a dying art, and is more often than not marginalized by the masses due to the mushrooming of unprofessional healers who may not have a thorough background in the art and science. We aim to shed this preconceived notion and strive to bring our field of practice to its deserved professional level.
We Have Future Plans in The Making!
Osso Bone Care is planning to extend our practices to assist more patients. We are currently in the midst of opening more treatment outlets, not only locally but internationally as well.
Within five years, we also see ourselves accepting and training more students for tutelage. This is to initiate them into the art and science of traditional Chinese medicine, particularly bone setting.
