Our Healing Methods
What Treatment Can I Expect From Osso Bone Care?

Each and every patient is treated according to the injury or pain presented to us. We customize each treatment session to ensure the best outcome, from diagnosis to preparation of topical herbal plasters for application to the wounded area.

Therefore, each treatment session is different and stands apart from others. Here is a general guideline of what our patients undergo during a treatment here in Osso Bone Care.

1.Diagnosis A physician will conduct a thorough physical examination on the affected area of the patient’s body, using his or her knowledge to uncover the ‘root’ of the pain. During this procedure, the affected part of the body will be examined for bone alignment, muscle stiffness and torn ligaments.

2.Manual Movement
The physician will slowly and carefully manipulate the limb or affected area.

3.“Loosen” the Muscles
With careful yet firm strokes, the physician will then manipulate the muscles around the affected area to ‘loosen’ up the muscles for quick, effective alignment.

4.Flush Out the Toxins
The physician will continue to manipulate the affected area to dissolve any present or potential blood clot and flush out toxins which have already pooled in the area.

5.Adjustment
Again, with firm strokes and movements, the physician will adjust the dislocation or other injuries. The pain experienced by the patient during this period, if any, will be quick and more like a little ‘shock’ to the body.

6.Application of Topical Herbal Plaster
A plaster made out of custom-created Chinese herbs will be mixed on-the-spot and spread on surgical dressing to ensure complete freshness. The physician will then apply this plaster to the affected area.
Cold Topical Plaster This type is cool, calming and is very effective in reducing the swelling to new and old injuries. A cold topical herbal plaster is often utilized for bone fractures or dislocation.
Hot Topical Plaster This warm herbal plaster is very soothing and best used to improve the circulation of the blood, and to strengthen the joints.

7.Recommendations for the Patient
Post-treatment, the physician will give an explanation of the specific type and cause of injury experienced by the patient in layman terms. The physician will then dispense full recommendations on what the patient can do to ensure speedier healing:
·Which kind of diet to temporarily observe (types of food to avoid)
·Activities that should be restricted during the healing process
·Exercise methods that the patient can conduct to strengthen the muscles and speed up the healing all the more
·Good posture lessons

8.Follow Up Appointment
After a session with our physician, the patient will be then be given a date for a follow-up examination.
